With love and gratitude, I want to share that this winter marks the final season for Katherine’s Knitwear here in Aspen. I opened my little boutique more than 30 years ago, never imagining how much it would become part of my life. Over the years, it grew into more than a place to find sweaters and cardigans — it became a warm, familiar space filled with wonderful customers, kind conversations, and pieces chosen to be worn and loved for years.
For decades, I’ve poured my heart into choosing knitwear that feels just as beautiful as it looks. I’ve always believed a good sweater should be soft, warm, comfortable, and made to become part of your everyday life. What started as a small dream here in Aspen slowly became a lifelong passion, shared with women who appreciate quality, comfort, and timeless style.
Now, after more than 30 wonderful years, the time has come for me to retire and close this chapter. As I prepare to spend more time with my husband, family, and grandchildren, I’m holding my final Retirement Sale, with up to 70% off selected sweaters and cardigans.
